This tumultuous relationship contributed to Kai’s hardened exterior and self-reliance.Mother: Hana Ashitaka, struggled with an opium addiction and was largely absent from Kai’s upbringing, focusing on her own needs rather than those of her family. Her neglect led Kai to learn how to cook from a young age.

About me:

• 37 year old male working in PDR (Paintless Dent Repair).• Big fan of anime, adventure, and Eastern culture.• Roleplaying is life when I’m online I’m here to build IC bonds and meet new RPers.

Availability:

• Time Zone: Central (CST)• Work Schedule: Monday–Friday (busier on weekdays)• More active on weekends

Rp Themes I enjoy:

• Martial Arts – Fighters, tournaments, and rivalries.• 18+ Themes – Dark, gritty, and mature storytelling.• Dark Themes – Crime, underworld conflicts, and high-stakes drama.• Adventure – Exploring, quests, and getting into trouble.• Slice of Life – Character growth, casual interactions, and deep storytelling.

Things I dislike:

• OP characters with no explanation – If your character is overpowered, there should be a reason behind it. Strength should be earned and justified.• Wasting my time – Be upfront about what you’re looking for in RP. If you’re not serious about building stories, I’m not interested.• ERP without any storyline building – If there’s no character development or plot behind it, I’m out.

IC Bonds

The BondKai Ashitaka and Rue are bound by a connection forged in noise and necessity the growl of engines, the smell of oil, blood on knuckles, and nights that ended with more questions than answers.Rue built and maintains Kai’s motorcycle not just as a machine, but as a promise, that no matter how reckless his path became, someone was watching the parts that kept him alive. Kai trusted her hands with his life long before he trusted her with his words. That trust did not break loudly.
It withdrew. Rue stepped back without explanation. No fight. No closure. Just distance intentional, precise, and final enough to hurt. Kai never asked why. Not because he didn’t care but because part of him feared the answer would confirm what he already suspects.

Mina

The BondKai and Mina’s bond was not formed through blood or violence., but through routine. Early mornings. Late nights. Burned fingers. Shared silence between orders. In the kitchen, Kai learned Mina was steady where the world is not. She doesn’t flinch at pressure. She doesn’t pry. She listens without demanding answers. Over time, that consistency became something rare in Kai’s life, safety.Mina doesn’t see the Iron Reaver first. She sees the man who cooks with intensity because feeding people feels like control in a world that never gave him any.

Ayame

The BondKai and Ayame do not bond through closeness. They bond through recognition. Ayame moves through Little Shiro Kitchen with a calm, almost ritual precision, soft steps, attentive eyes, and a presence that feels older than it should be. As an Au Ra, she has always been seen, and as a result, she has learned to see others just as sharply.Kai notices this immediately. She watches without staring. Listens without intruding. Speaks only when it matters. To Kai, Ayame is not naïve, nor fragile, she is observant, controlled, and quietly aware of the violence and politics that orbit Little Shiro. She does not ask Kai who he is outside the kitchen. She already understands enough to know when not to.

The BondKai and Takeyuki were forged in places that don’t care if you survive only how long you last. They didn’t meet as fighters. They became fighters together.Juvenile detention wasn’t a chapter it was a furnace. Blood on concrete. Homemade blades. Guards who looked away. Nights where the only rule was don’t be weak. In that place, Kai and Takeyuki learned each other’s tells, limits, and breaking points. They fought back-to-back not out of honor, but necessity. Takeyuki adapted by embracing the violence.
Kai adapted by enduring it. That difference matters.
